This initial offer led to no arrests, and now, 6 years later, the department has raised the money to a whopping $5 million.Now, the US State Department’s Rewards for Justice Program has publicly announced a new offer of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the individual or individuals involved in Khan’s killing, in any country.
The reward is described as a high-value incentive to encourage tips from the public.The FBI’s Albany Field Office in Binghamton, New York, is working with the New York State Police and Johnson City Police Department in the investigation.
