His daughter and ‘Today’ show host Savannah Guthrie attended the same church.

The group began gathering during the pandemic, the outlet said. When Guthrie failed to show up at a friend’s house, they reportedly contacted his other daughter, Annie Guthrie.
A source told Fox News that initial reports that Guthrie was scheduled to attend a Tucson church service that day were not accurate. The person added that this misinformation caused confusion about the situation when he was first reported missing.
Persons detained for questioning:ABC News reports that one person has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie. Authorities reportedly arrested the man in Arizona. According to a TMZ report, the man detained — not arrested — is not a member of the Guthrie family.
Meanwhile, authorities also released video footage from Guthrie’s driveway showing a possible subject. However, it could not be confirmed whether the person seen in the footage and the detained person are the same.

Reportedly, after dinner, Anne’s husband, Tommaso Cioni, dropped Guthrie off at her home. According to former News Nation journalist Ashley Banfield, Sioni was initially a suspect, which authorities later ruled out. He was the last to see Guthrie before he disappeared on February 1.
