“Unjust Iranian aggression”: The Kuwaiti Ministries Complex building was targeted by a “hostile” drone attack; He watches

The Kuwaiti Ministries Complex building and the oil sector complex in Shuwaikh were attacked by a drone on Sunday. The country’s Ministry of Finance said the attack on the “ministry building complex” was due to a “hostile drone attack” as a result of “unjust Iranian aggression.”

Videos of the attack showed flames erupting from part of the oil sector complex in Shuwaikh. The authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported so far.

“The Ministry of Finance announces that the Ministries Complex building in Kuwait City was targeted on the evening of Saturday, April 4, 2026, by a hostile drone as a result of the unjust Iranian aggression, which led to significant material damage to the building, without any human casualties being reported, praise be to God.

The Ministry of Finance said in a statement that emergency teams and concerned authorities immediately responded to the incident in accordance with approved procedures.

The Kuwaiti army said that its air defense systems are actively intercepting incoming missiles and drones, while Iran continues its attack across the Gulf in response to the US-Israeli strikes.The Kuwaiti army posted on theGulf states, including Kuwait, have been subjected to Iranian attacks in response to strikes by the United States and Israel on February 28, which have since escalated into a broader regional conflict.
