Weather conditions across the Emirates are expected to become unstable from Wednesday until March 15, with the possibility of rain, dusty winds and cold temperatures in several areas, before conditions gradually improve later in the week, according to the National Center of Meteorology. The weather may be dusty at times, while some western and coastal areas may witness rainfall. Temperatures are also expected to gradually drop during the day. The winds are northeasterly and active during the day, sometimes intensifying to the point of raising dust and sand in the atmosphere. Wind speeds are expected to range between 15 and 30 km/h, and reach speeds of 50 km/h in some areas.
The winds are likely to calm down by the afternoon. The sea will be rough at first, then become moderate to light later in the day in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. On Thursday, humidity levels may rise in the morning in some interior areas. Light fog is also likely to form towards the western regions early in the day. As the day progresses, the sky will remain partly cloudy to cloudy, and rain is likely to fall in separate areas.
The northeasterly winds continue to blow, and are generally light to moderate, but may intensify at times and raise dust. Wind speeds are expected to range between 15 and 25 km/h, sometimes reaching 35 km/h. The Arabian Gulf is witnessing waves rising to medium to light, while the Sea of Oman remains light. By Friday, the country may once again witness humid morning weather, with the possibility of light fog forming in some western regions.
