While the White House has often defended the president’s health, claiming he is still fit and able, social media users have claimed the latest event is part of a larger trend of strange public appearances and incoherent excuses that have fueled debate about his fitness for office.

“Champion Undithput of Coal”Video clips of Trump’s speech show him beginning a sentence before becoming incoherent for a few seconds. At a brief stretch, Trump mumbled and momentarily lost his train of thought.
Trump reads “coal’s undisputed champion” and shudders. At the White House, he said, “And I’m proud to officially name the undithpuut…” He then paused for a second, saying, “When did it come out, Mr. Speaker?”
He received the Washington Coal Club’s ‘Undisputed Champion of Coal’ award during the ceremony in recognition of his work to reduce federal greenhouse gas regulations.
He said, “The undisputed champion of beautiful, clean coal. We always have to move — I don’t use the word coal, you know, it needs a PR because it’s had a bad reputation for a while.”
He further praised his own initiative, adding, “It’s got to be up front with nice, clean coal, okay? We’re cleaning it up pretty well.”

Respond via social mediaThis is not the first time that Trump has fueled rumors surrounding his alleged deteriorating health with his slurred speech at events. His long speech at last month’s World Economic Forum in Davos in early January was particularly challenging to follow.
Additionally, there have been times when he has been seen bowing in public or stumbling while speaking to the media. Trump showed significant confusion throughout his Davos speech, at one point confusing Iceland with Greenland.
Speculations about the president’s health have been rife since he took office and social media users are not far from speculating.
A page on X named @KremlinTrolls claimed, “Trump has not been playing golf since January 18th. He is incapacitated by his illness.”
Another X user posted a Getty image and caption of Saul Loeb during an event on February 12 and wrote, “Trump’s black hand looked extra dirty and swollen today.”
However, none of these claims have been independently verified by HT.com.
