Sioni, who is married to Savannah’s sister Annie, returned to Nancy at her residence in Tucson, Arizona, after sharing dinner with the 84-year-old couple on Saturday evening. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in an interview with The New York Times that he made sure he entered the house safely before leaving.
Nancy was last seen between her drop off time of 9:45 pm and Sunday morning, when friends at church raised concerns about her absence.
Sheriff Nanos noted that Guthrie’s family has cooperated with investigators, who have been engaged in a desperate search for him for the past four days. No suspects have been identified in her disappearance.
