1. Police confirm possible kidnappingArizona authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was possibly abducted from her Tucson-area home while she was sleeping, according to Pima County Sheriff’s officials.

2. Security presence at Guthrie’s homeThe Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it will “maintain a presence” at Nancy Guthrie’s residence for security purposes at the family’s request, according to a statement shared with media partners.

3. Septic tank search raises concernsInvestigators were seen on Feb. 8 searching a septic tank and opening a manhole in Guthrie’s backyard. Journalist Brian Antin confirmed at X that detectives were examining the tank, although police did not reveal what prompted the search.

5. Blood evidence confirmedSheriff Chris Nanos said DNA testing confirmed the blood found on Guthrie’s front porch was hers, bolstering the belief she was forced from the home.
