The latest documents related to Jeffrey Epstein show interactions with the Rothschild family, causing a stir among many. The Justice Department on Friday released the latest batch of documents linked to the late convicted child sex offender.
References to the Rothschild family in documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein have led many to recall scenes from Tom Cruise’s Eyes Wide Shut. Seeing the appearance of the name Rothschild, many recalled Hollywood director Stanley Kubrick’s movie Eyes Wide Shut, starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.
The 1999 film is about a man who joins an underground gang obsessed with sex and finds he can’t leave so easily. Cruise stars as the protagonist, and there are many theories linking the movie to Epstein’s activities. The Hollywood Reporter did a story on how Eyes Wide Shut predicted the Epstein story.

What added fuel to the fire was Kubrick’s death just days after the movie was made. Eyes Wide Shut is based on Arthur Schnitzler’s 1926 novel Dream Story. When he died of a heart attack, there were unfounded claims that the extremely powerful men he portrayed in the film silenced him. These same conspiracy theorists draw other parallels, comparing Epstein to Sidney Pollack’s Victor Ziegler, an upper-class financier in the movie.
Eyes wide shut clip goes viralOne person shared a clip and wrote “In the film Eyes Wide Shut (1999), Stanley Kubrick depicts some sacrificial rituals performed by the elite, matching what was revealed in the Epstein files. Kubrick died at his home a few days after shooting that movie.”
Another added, “After the new Epstein file we can safely say Eyes Wide Shut was not fiction.”
Notably, documents linked to Epstein also mention rituals and sacrifices, and describe a yacht party where people allegedly ate feces from intestines. ‘George Bush 1’ is mentioned in the same document.

The mention of the Rothschild family in the Epstein documents has sparked extensive discussion.
“Epstein in an email to Peter Thiel: ‘As you probably know, I represent the Rothschilds…’ Yes, the Rothschilds—the same banking dynasty that essentially engineered modern Israel through the Balfour Declaration. The same Rothschilds whose creepy mansion is seen in Eyes Wide Shut wrote another elitist scene during that elitist scene.
Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire, England served as the exterior filming location for the Orgy Mansion in Kubrick’s movie. Notably, in 1972 the Rothschilds held a surrealist ball at the Chateau de Ferrières. Among those in attendance was Marissa Berenson, who played Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon.
How are the Rothschilds mentioned in the Epstein documents?The correspondence between Epstein and Peter Thiel is not the only document that mentions the Rothschilds.
Another document details business dealings between Epstein and Ariane de Rothschild of the Rothschild Group. A person who shared this document on X commented “Newly discovered Epstein files show Jeffrey Epstein had business ties to the Rothschild family. The world is run by an elite pedophile sect.”
Epstein also communicated with Ariane de Rothschild that the ‘coup’ in Ukraine should provide ‘many opportunities’ amid the Crimea crisis in 2014.
