A crowd gathered Sunday night at Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden for drinks and live music when gunfire shattered the bar’s routine buzz. Within minutes, panic replaced partisan chatter – and a 53-year-old man, after a shootout with police, died.The man, identified as Ndiaja Diagne, carried out a shooting rampage in Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden in Austin. Authorities believed Diagne may have been motivated by US and Israeli missile strikes on Iran, but the FBI and local police said it was too early to determine his motives.

The attack was investigated as a possible act of terrorism, shortly after the United States and Israel launched their attack on Iran.Diagne was wearing a T-shirt reading “King of God” over an Iranian flag T-shirt at the time of the shooting, and a Quran was later recovered from his car.

The posts, which appeared to be linked to Diane, included misogynistic, anti-Semitic and racist statements on X which were routinely flagged as “hateful behaviour”. In one of his posts last April, he wrote: “The Islamic Revolution is eternal, and it is here to stay until the end of time.” He added: “You Zionists and Islamophobes can be as angry as you want, but you cannot do anything about it, no matter what.”In an October post, he wrote of Loomer: “Shut up Israel First, move to Israel you fucking bitch,” and added in a separate post: “The free ride is coming to an end, you and your followers in Israel First, the fake Jews, you know it, so melt all you want you ugly bitch.”A screenshot of X posts from Laura Loomer, Evan Kilgore, and Ndiaga Diagne, with Ndiaga Diagne’s post partially redacted and flagged for violating X’s rules against hateful behavior.

He called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “evil” on ChannelDozens of his Christian publications also criticized. He wrote in a post last November: “Is Islam considered an enemy of America? Because Jesus who came out of the vagina can never be God. Just read Mark 12:29, John 17:3. Your lies, propaganda, insults and distortions will not stop Islam. Islam is here to save you in this world and the hereafter.”Separately, Diani called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “evil” and criticized first daughter Ivanka Trump after she publicly praised President Trump’s efforts for peace in the Middle East.He wrote in response to Trump’s post: “They think they can turn Gaza into a real estate project,” and added: “They are wrong. The atrocities of the settlers occupying Palestine will end just like apartheid in South Africa.”
