Their exchange sparked online debate about Kirk’s legacy and deepened divisions among conservative commentators.

The public feud surrounding the late Charlie Kirk has taken another dramatic turn, with conservative commentator Candace Owens publicly challenging former Turning Point USA speechwriter Blake Neff to a live debate.

Their recent exchange intensified an already heated debate over Kirk’s legacy and the controversies that emerged after his death. What started as criticism on social media quickly evolved into a direct invitation. Owens said a live conversation would reflect the kind of open debate she believes Charlie Kirk supports, while Neff responded with accusations of his own.

Candace Owens calls for a live discussion on the Charlie Kirk case

Owens publicly called out Neff to discuss the controversy, writing:“It is very easy for us to set up a live broadcast and discuss the Charlie Kirk case.

I’d be happy to do that @BlakeSneff.Candace’s offer versus Truman’s offer to Charlie would be the kind of debate Charlie believes in.

Her post came after Buckley Carlson criticized Nev while mentioning Owens. Carlson wrote:Looks like “fuck” is your expertise, @BlakeSneff. And few of them could be more focused on @RealCandaceO… than on the lies and ridiculous actions of “our” FBI. It’s your “job” after all. Can you meet this reasonable standard suggested by @LionelMedia? No “preconceived grudges”Owens followed up with another post directly challenging Nev’s portrayal of Charlie Kirk.

“Ah yes. Charlie has instead been known to obsessively tweet and watch every minute of content from ‘bad faith actors’ while continuing to avoid any discussion with them.“Blake, you are the greatest living example of why the world is convinced that Charlie has been betrayed.”The comments quickly attracted widespread attention, with supporters and critics participating on both sides of the debate.

Blake Neff responds to Candace Owens with new allegations

Neff rejected Owens’ criticism and claimed she had previously turned down opportunities to discuss the issues in person. He wrote in his response:“You were invited to attend a discussion here in Phoenix, and you came up with a fake gang assassination plot as an excuse not to attend.

“This is separate from the other assassination plot you used as an excuse to skip Charlie’s memorial service despite your invitation. Charlie said it best.”

Neff also attached what appears to be an old letter attributed to Charlie Kirk as part of his response, which has fueled further discussion online. This exchange has been fully revealed publicly, leading to significant interaction across social media as followers continue to debate the allegations made by both individuals.

Neither party provided evidence in these publications to prove the allegations directed at the other party. With Owens publicly expressing her desire to participate in a live debate, and Neff continuing his criticism, attention has now turned to whether such a debate will actually take place. For now, the controversy continues to play out online, keeping Charlie Kirk’s name at the center of yet another high-profile political conversation.
