Dr. Peter Attia has been in trouble ever since his name appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files. Attia’s exchange with the late convicted child sex offender went public after the Department of Justice released the latest batch of documents this Friday.

(x/@adammedia, Facebook/Helen Gordon)Atiya had just been hired as a contributor to CBS News when her exchange with Epstein put the man under investigation. Since then, Atiya has apologized for the email and maintains that she was not involved in any criminal activity. Atiya also added that she did not board Epstein’s plane or visit the infamous island.
However, it may be too little too late, with The Wrap reporting that CBS News news chief Barry Weiss is the only person between Attia and the firing.
Peter Attia: The Barry Weiss vs. Paramount Struggle”It’s Attia vs. everyone now,” a person told the publication, adding that Paramount executives saw it as an HR matter and that Attia was not supposed to offer expert advice to a broadcast network.
Although corporate wants Atiya gone, Weiss is not interested in severing the former link to Epstein, as he sees it as pandering to the mob. The publication also reported that the final decision on Attia’s future may come down to Paramount CEO David Ellison.
