With Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie missing since Feb. 1, Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld urged the entire Guthrie family to take a polygraph test, saying the 84-year-old’s disappearance shows nothing suspicious.

In the wake of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, Greg Gutfeld suggests the Guthrie family, especially Savannah, should take a polygraph test. (Savannah Guthrie/Facebook)”Have they given everybody polygraphs? I don’t believe they have. I think Savannah Guthrie might volunteer to take a polygraph and say, ‘I don’t want people to assume I might be involved,'” Gutfeld said during his Monday show.

A polygraph, commonly misidentified as a lie detector test, is a pseudoscientific instrument or procedure that gauges and records various physiological parameters, including blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration, and skin conductance, as a person responds to a series of probes.

Greg Gutfeld questioned the authenticity of the ransom noteHe said the alleged ransom notes sent to media houses, which demanded bitcoins for the safe return of the 84-year-old, were questionable.

Raising doubts about the ransom note, he said it appears to be a trick as it has no meaning of beginning and ending.

“If you really want to get money, you don’t go to TMZ. You don’t go to Harvey Levin. You go to the rich families who do it behind the scenes, and you [the public] The Fox News host may never hear about it.

He highlighted that the conclusion raises questions about the payment process such as where and how one pays. “So I think this is all a red herring.”

Greg Gutfeld urges Savannah Guthrie to take a polygraph testThe Fox News host said that if Savannah Guthrie were to undergo a voluntary lie detector test, it would help dispel doubts about her family’s involvement, as they would be forced to participate in polygraph tests.

“It forces everyone else in his circle to chip in. They may refuse to do it at first, but if you really say, ‘I’m willing to do it,’ and everyone else decides to do it, great,” Gutfeld commented.

“So if you deny it after the daughter publicly says she’s going to do one, it looks different to me,” he added.

Gutfeld also called for a re-examination of the finances of Nancy’s relatives.
