Elon Musk has officially consolidated his empire, announcing that SpaceX and XAI have merged into a single entity. The merger values the enhanced entity at $1.25 trillion. The news went viral in part thanks to a cheeky response from YouTube star MrBeast about social media platform X’s new ownership.

Social Media Response:The post sparked a series of reactions on social media. One person joked, “Would you do the first YouTube video on Mars?” Another commented, “This is not a merger. It’s the first time in a civilization: a global nervous system (X), extraterrestrial sensory organs (SpaceX), and a logic layer that updates in real time (xAI) we’re not seeing the growth of a company. We’re looking at creating a species image.”
A third revealed, “Wait if something happens to Elon and you own X. Does that mean space X or just Twitter.” The person referred to the tweet by Jimmy “MisterBeast” Donaldson in which he asked Musk if he could be the next CEO of X (formerly Twitter).

Why consolidation?xAI has joined SpaceX to “accelerate the future of humanity,” according to a statement signed by Elon Musk.
