The minority group condemns the brutal killing of Nayan Sadhu in Bangladesh

Dhaka: The Hindu Bangladesh Christian Unity Council (HBCUC) on Saturday strongly condemned the brutal killing of Nayan Sadhu and demanded strict punishment for those responsible.On April 22, the charred body of Nayan Sadhu, who served at the Sri Sri Sarvajanin Shiv Kali temple in Khurmanchkul Union in Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila, was found hanging from a tree in a deep forest far from the temple.A human chain and a protest march were organized under the banner of various groups at the National Press Club headquarters in Dhaka on Friday. Minority Oikya Morcha, Gobo Oikya Parishad and Chhatra Oikya Parishad – the bodies under the Oikya Parishad (Unity Council) – participated in the demonstrations.According to the HBCUC, on the evening of April 19, two unknown people summoned Nyan Sado from the temple. After his disappearance, the temple’s president, Anjana Shail, immediately informed the local police station. His body was discovered three days later.
