'Ketamine Queen' Jasveen Sangha gets 15 years in prison, sold drugs to Matthew Perry before his overdose death

Ketamine Queen sentenced to 15 years in prison in Matthew Perry case

Three years after the death of Hollywood actor Matthew Perry, 42-year-old Jasveen Sangha, also known as the “Ketamine Queen,” was sentenced Wednesday to 180 months in federal prison for her longtime drug trafficking activities, including the sale of ketamine that contributed to the deaths of at least two people.

Perry’s overdose in October 2023 was one of those cases.Jasvin Sangha was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Sherrilyn Pace Garnett.Sangha pleaded guilty in September 2025 to one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of distributing ketamine, and one count of distributing ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury.Sangha is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom, and has been in federal custody since August 2024.“For years… Sangha operated a large drug trafficking business out of her North Hollywood residence,” prosecutors said in a sentencing memorandum. To develop its business, [Sangha] It marketed itself as an exclusive dealer catering to high-profile Hollywood clients…while [Sangha] She worked to expand her drug smuggling and benefit from them, and she knew – and ignored – the serious harm caused by her behavior.

Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic that has some hallucinogenic effects and is meant to be administered only by a doctor. Before Sangha’s sentencing, Perry’s stepmother, Debbie Perry, asked the judge to impose the maximum prison sentence possible. Debbie Berry said in a victim impact statement submitted to a California court on Tuesday that Sangha had caused “irreparable” damage.“You caused this… You, who have the talent to work hard enough to make money, chose the only way that hurts people,” she said.

“Please give this cruel woman the maximum prison sentence so she cannot harm other families like ours.”Matthew Perry was known for his struggles with drug addiction. Days before his death, Sangha sold Perry 51 vials of ketamine. On October 28, 2023, Perry’s personal assistant injected Perry with at least three shots of Ketamine Sangha, causing Perry’s death.

Ketamine Queen planned to distance herself from Perry’s death

Sangha worked with Eric Fleming and two days after Perry’s death, Fleming left Sangha with a voicemail on Signal and texted: “Please call.

. . Got more information and want to bounce ideas off of you. I’m 90% sure everyone is protected. I’ve never dealt with it [Perry]. Just his assistant so the assistant was the enabler. They also do a 3-month toxicology screen. . . Does the K stay in your system or is it flushed immediately[?]”.In March 2024, law enforcement searched Sangha’s home and found thousands of compressed methamphetamine pills, 79 vials of liquid ketamine, ecstasy (ecstasy) pills, counterfeit Xanax pills, baggies containing ketamine powder and cocaine, and other drug trafficking items such as a gold coin counting machine, a scale, a radio signal and hidden camera detector, drug packaging materials, and $5,723 in cash.
