Trump, Rubio working to revoke visas of 3000-4000 Iranian elites living in US, says Katie Miller

Relatives of Iranian leader Hamida Soleimani Afshar (left), 47, and her daughter Sarinsadat Hosseini, 25, were living a luxurious life in the United States.

After the State Department revoked the green cards of Hamida Soleimani Afshar and her daughter Sarinsadat Hosseini, the daughter and granddaughter of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Major General Qassem Soleimani, the administration is targeting other Iranian elites living in the United States.

Katie Miller, wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, appeared on Fox News and said she was aware that President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were working hard to revoke the visas of approximately 3,000 to 4,000 elite Iranians in the United States. Miller also questioned why so many Iranian regime elites were given safety not only in the United States but also in European countries. “The double standards, not just in their wardrobe, but the fact that they live here in the greatest country in the world, with security and prosperity, you can’t make up for it,” Miller said.

After the war broke out, Dr. Fatemeh Ardeshir Larijani, whose late father was a senior official in Tehran, was fired from Emory University after a massive backlash began questioning why she was allowed to continue in her prestigious position as an assistant professor at the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University in Atlanta.

However, the most high-profile cases were the ICE arrests of the mother-daughter duo whose arrests exposed the lavish life they were living in Los Angeles.

“During her stay in the United States, Afshar promoted Iranian regime propaganda, celebrated attacks against American soldiers and military installations in the Middle East, praised Iran’s new Supreme Leader, denounced America as the ‘Great Satan,’ and expressed unwavering support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a designated terrorist organization. Afshar Soleimani promoted this propaganda for the Iranian terrorist regime while enjoying a lavish lifestyle in Los Angeles, as evidenced by her frequent posts.” The State Department said on its recently deleted Instagram account.

Afshar entered the United States on a tourist visa in 2015, and was later granted asylum by an immigration judge in 2019. She became a lawful permanent resident in 2021. But in her 2025 naturalization application, officials say she disclosed multiple trips to Iran after receiving her green card, which is now grounds for ineligibility. Her daughter entered the United States in July 2015 on a student visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2023, she became a green card holder.
