Amid escalating tensions surrounding the Iranian conflict, US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he may miss the wedding of his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., joking that he would “be killed” whether he attended the event or not.Speaking to reporters during an Oval Office interaction, Trump said he would try to attend the wedding but noted that the ongoing situation in Iran and potential media scrutiny make timing difficult.Trump said: “He wants me to go… This is not a good time for me. Donald Trump Jr. announced his engagement to Anderson in December during a ceremony at the White House. They were reportedly engaged at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland. Anderson later hosted a wedding at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach.
The upcoming ceremony will mark Trump Jr.’s second marriage. He was previously married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he had five children, before their divorce in 2018.
