SITCOM star Grady Daymond Wilson has died aged 79, his son has confirmed.

What was the cause of death of Grady Demond Wilson?His son, Daymond Wilson Jr., confirmed the news to TMZ, saying his father died of cancer after a long battle.
He led off with a tribute to the beloved actor, saying, “I love him. He was a great man.”
Wilson Jr. did not reveal his father’s specific type of cancer or the date of his diagnosis.
In a heartfelt tribute to X, one fan wrote: “RIP Demond Wilson. My parents were pretty insistent on 10 PM bed when I was a kid, but they let me make an exception for ‘Sanford & Son’ when it came on WPHL at 10. Always worth it.”

He founded the Recovery House of America to help ex-convicts reintegrate into society.
Daymond has also written a memoir and several Christian-themed books.
