A video purporting to show someone who looks like Ghislaine Maxwell has gone viral on social media. The clip, which has been shared widely, appears to show a woman in Quebec, Canada who appears to be an accomplice and accomplice of Jeffrey Epstein.

Maxwell was jailed for her crimes and the alleged video sparked a buzz over whether she had managed to get out.
In the video, a person is walking down the street when he encounters a woman wearing a blue jacket who looks like Maxwell. The person calls her “Ghislaine” on camera and asks “Do I know you.” When the woman answers, “No sorry,” the person appears to be saying that he was asking her for “pizza.”

The video also has a caption, “She used to associate me with pizza.” This is likely a reference to the “pizza” in the Epstein files – the final part of which was recently released by the Justice Department. The mention of pizza sparked renewed interest in the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory about cannibalism.
Reactions to alleged Ghislaine Maxwell video

Another added: “Please don’t tell me that Ghislaine Maxwell is here with her brother and living her best life. We are truly in the last days. Jesus is coming back and that’s a fact. Our whole life is one big psychological process.”
Another noted, “This video is about a woman in Quebec who looks like Ghislaine Maxwell. The conspiracy theory claims she was secretly released from prison. This video is likely produced by artificial intelligence or just a lookalike. What do you think?”
Several people also shared photos of Maxwell and compared them side-by-side with screenshots of the woman in the video. One person claimed that Maxwell’s brother, Philip, was also in the clip.
Fact check: Ghislaine Maxwell video real?
Although it was widely shared, the person in the video does not appear to be Maxwell. It could be an AI video or something similar. HT.com was unable to independently verify its authenticity.
Grok verified users’ authenticity, saying: “Based on frame analysis, the video does not show any obvious AI traces such as glitches or inconsistent lighting – it appears to be real footage of the woman in Quebec City. However, Ghislaine Maxwell is still in prison according to records from February 2026, so it is likely that it looks like her, not her.”
By all accounts, Maxwell is in the federal prison camp, Bryan, Texas.
The alleged video of Maxwell began circulating after a disgraced royal, Andrew, was arrested over his links to Jeffrey Epstein. It also comes amid existing rumors that Maxwell will not be in prison, which began making the rounds on social media after clips of her invoking the Fifth Amendment began circulating. Many online claimed, without evidence, that the woman identified as Maxwell looked different, sparking conspiracy theories about her possible release from prison.
