At least 12 people, including five Indian nationals, were injured in Abu Dhabi on Friday after debris fell following an interception attack, according to the government media office. The incident occurred in the Ajban area, where fragments of an Iranian interceptor missile injured residents. The Abu Dhabi Media Office said that the accident “resulted in the injury of 6 individuals of Nepalese nationality and 5 individuals of Indian nationality with minor to moderate injuries, and one serious injury to an individual of Nepalese nationality,” in a post on the X website.Churches in the United Arab Emirates also announced that they will close during Easter Sunday on orders from the government as the conflict continues. The latest developments follow a warning posted by the IRGC on the Guard’s Telegram channel, which declared 18 American technology companies as “legitimate targets” due to their alleged involvement in US and Israeli strikes on Iranian soil. The post read: “From now on, for every assassination, an American company will be destroyed.”The Guard also said that the attacks would begin at 8 p.m. Tehran time on Wednesday, and warned employees in those companies to evacuate their workplaces immediately to protect their lives. The growing threat has heightened concerns about the security of energy infrastructure in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, through which a fifth of the world’s oil and natural gas passes in peacetime.
