Ashley St. Clair reveals why she rejected Elon Musk’s $40 million offer
Ashley St. Clair has claimed she turned down a multi-million dollar non-disclosure agreement (NDA) offered to her after the birth of her son, whom she says she shares with Elon Musk. Ashley said she chose principle over money.Speaking on the Don Lemon Show, the 27-year-old influencer claimed that Musk’s representatives offered her a financial package worth tens of millions of dollars in exchange for keeping their relationship and child private.“It was a shock, especially the way it happened [the NDA] “It was introduced via disappearing signal messages,” St. Clair said during the interview.According to St. Clair, the proposal was first raised by Musk’s wealth manager, Jared Birchall.
She claimed the arrangement initially involved a large upfront payment before it was later linked to a confidentiality agreement.“Originally, Elon sent a message to Jared and I that said, ‘Send Ashley $15 million for a house and a reserve equity, and that’s it.'” “A few days later, Jared had a two-hour phone call with me, where he was there [saying] Basically, there has to be some kind of non-disclosure agreement.”
St. Clair said she objected to the idea and maintained her position even after a larger financial offer was made.She claimed that Musk later offered her “$15 million and $100,000 a month for 20 years” if she agreed to keep quiet about the relationship.“I never meant to belittle Elon. I never talked about anything, including his employees and affiliates, nothing,” she claimed.“I responded to Jared and said, ‘I cannot sign this in good conscience,'” she added.The influencer has two children including an older child from a previous relationship.
