A quiet family weekend at Al Qudra Lake turned out to be an extraordinary event for Indian-origin expat Sourav Jain and his family. Narrating the incident, Jain told HT.com, “We were enjoying our weekend at Al Qudra Lake, suddenly, my wife saw the Dubai number plate, which we knew was for His Highness the Sheikh and she called us all to come and see His Highness and she waved at the car the moment the car approached us and rolled down the window.”

Jain continued, “We requested a photo with my kids as my son is a huge fan of her and she is very humble. Her Majesty agreed and invited my kids to capture with her not only that but she also gave my daughter a cold coffee.”

The Indian diaspora recalled how the ruler told his children “God bless you”. He added, “We are very happy and grateful for his gesture and kindness.”

Jain shared a video that captures the moment his kids interact with the Dubai ruler.

How was the meeting with the ruler of Dubai?”I’ve always heard about his humility, and I’m lucky I got the chance to witness it,” Jain told HT.com.

He also recalled visiting Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Referring to the interview, she said, “It was four years ago when we met the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamadan during the Expo and he was equally humble and waved to my child.”

This is not the first time that the story of the kindness of the Ruler of Dubai and the Dubai Crown Prince has won the hearts of people. There are multiple videos on social media showing the ruler stopping to take selfies or greet people. There is also footage of him preventing his security team from stopping a woman, who accidentally crossed her path inside the Dubai Mall.

Yuvraj, an avid social media user, is often seen interacting with the public. He once silently paid for all the dinners at a restaurant in Dubai. The incident only came to light when an influencer posted about it on social media.
