Does the VP not have their own login? Strange details in J.D. Vance's photo of Jared Kushner raise concerns

One detail of JD Vance’s photo has raised security concerns.

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani shared a photo of Vice President J.D. Vance with Jared Kushner. “Live from Lucerne, work in progress with @VP and @jaredkushner,” the post read.

Vance and Kushner were both looking at something on the laptop, which looked like Vance was using it.

But excited social media users quickly zoomed in on the image on a card inserted into the laptop and questioned why the card contained an image of a woman.

The card looks like a common access card used by US defense personnel but the picture on it was clearly of a woman.“I would like to know the intended symbolism of the Prime Minister of Qatar posting a photo of JD Vance logging into a laptop using someone else’s CAC card,” journalist Carolyn Orr Bueno wrote, suggesting: “A read-between-the-lines message is being sent 100%.”

Retired US intelligence officer Travis Akers said the picture reflects complete incompetence at every turn. “This photo was posted of the Prime Minister of Qatar, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Jared Kushner. What’s wrong? A foreign leader granted visual access to a USG laptop, while using someone else’s CAC to log in. Absolute incompetence at every turn,” Akers wrote. Many social media users pointed out that more than the card, the presence of the Qatari Prime Minister with full view of JD Vance’s laptop was even more disturbing. Others claimed that the Vice President may not have been using his own laptop and only needed a laptop to see something, which is why there was no offense in either using someone else’s card or allowing the Qatari Prime Minister to look at it.
