Qatar residents have a new date to mark in their calendar. World-famous Cirque du Soleil brings its spectacular production Corteo to Doha for a limited six-day run from 8 April to 13 April 2026, with eight live shows scheduled at the Qatar National Convention Centre.This represents one of the largest live entertainment events on Qatar’s spring calendar, giving families, residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the world-famous theatrical circus production without leaving the country.
Cirque du Soleil Courteau Doha 2026
The Doha Race will include eight shows spread over six days. Evening shows are scheduled most days, with additional shows over the weekend to meet increased demand.The official schedule is organized as follows, and April 8 and 9 will host evening performances. April 10 and 11 will include two shows: one afternoon show and one evening show. On April 12 and 13, the tour will conclude with evening shows.Each show lasts approximately two hours, including a short intermission. Doors open approximately one hour before show time, allowing attendees time to enter, find seats, and enjoy the pre-show atmosphere.
What is corteo?
“Corteo,” which means “procession” in Italian, tells the story of a clown who imagines his funeral as a joyous, carnival-like celebration watched over by angels. The production moves between heaven and earth, mixing comedy, emotion and imagination.Featuring world-class acrobats, aerialists, acrobats and musicians, the show combines sporting precision with theatrical narrative. Unlike a traditional circus, there are no animal shows.
Instead, the production relies on choreography, lighting, elaborate costumes and live music to create a visually immersive experience.Courteau is one of Cirque du Soleil’s longest-running acts, having toured internationally across North America, Europe and Asia before arriving in Doha.
Ticket prices
Tickets are now officially on sale, starting at QAR 175, making the show available across multiple seating categories.
Prices vary depending on seat location and performance date.Tickets can be purchased online through Visit Qatar’s official event calendar and authorized ticketing platform Platinumlist. Early booking is recommended, especially for weekend shows, which are expected to sell out first.All guests ages 2 and up require a ticket, and seating is assigned. Families attending with children are encouraged to select seats together when booking.
