A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a 29-year-old man in connection with a deadly home invasion in Brampton that left one person dead last year.Peel Regional Police say Manpreet Singh, of Indian descent, of no fixed address, is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm after an Aug. 19, 2025, shooting.
Officers were warned that he may be armed and dangerous.According to investigators, two suspects allegedly entered a home on Bayhampton Drive, near Castlemore Road and Humbwest Parkway, and opened fire on two people inside. A man was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds and was later released.Police had earlier arrested the first suspect in the case. In October, 24-year-old Dilpreet Singh, of Brampton, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the same incident.Investigators have now identified Manpreet Singh as the second suspect and have obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant. He is described as being five feet 10 inches tall, of medium build, with straight black hair, brown eyes, and a full beard. Police say he has a tattoo on his right forearm that says “Mann Sukh” with a heart symbol between the two words.Authorities urged the public not to approach him if he is spotted: “Police say Singh may be armed and dangerous. If seen, call 911 immediately.”
