In March 2025, a medical examiner’s report revealed that the couple had separated in September 2024. A month later, Jeff was reported to have made “troubling remarks,” prompting Aubrey to “call a friend to do a welfare check on her husband.”
Jeff died in January 2025
On January 4, 2025, multiple media outlets reported that Jeff had died. The authorities revealed that he died by suicide.
Days after his death, Aubrey and Baena’s family shared a statement with the people In an article published on January 6, 2025, “This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
