ExtraEmily’s ban puts driving streams back in the spotlight
The conversation started about Andy being suspended again due to ExtraEmily’s recent ban on Twitch. She was suspended for 24 hours after a viral clip showed her looking away from the road while making a turn.

She also said that she would stop chatting if she started live streaming while driving again. The incident also led to a larger discussion about driving streams on Twitch. Streamer Asmongold is among those who believe the platform should ban live streams entirely due to safety risks.Twitch’s current community guidelines clearly state that dangerous or distracted driving is not permitted while streaming. The rules state that streamers cannot read chat messages or physically interact with streaming equipment while driving. However, the platform allows content creators to listen to text-to-speech messages and respond to them using their voice. At the time of writing, Twitch has not publicly responded to the Asian’s recent request to restore his account.A recent appeal by Asian Andy has once again put Twitch’s outdated enforcement decisions in the spotlight. While the platform has not commented on his request, the discussion is ongoing as more people debate whether the years-long permanent ban should be reviewed, especially as Twitch continues to enforce strict rules against distracted driving while streaming.
