3 people were killed, including a gunman; 14 people injured in a shooting in a Texas bar

At least three people, including the alleged gunman, were killed and 14 others wounded after a shooting at a Texas bar, authorities said. The city’s police chief, Lisa Davis, said at a news conference early Sunday that her forces had received reports of a “man shot” at Buford Park, a popular beer park in the city’s entertainment district, Sky News reported. When police arrived at the scene on West 6th Street, they found a man carrying a gun, and three officers returned fire, killing the suspect.Davis said they were fortunate because of all the resources the police department had on nearby West 6th Street at the time, and with the bars closed, resources were “able to move quickly here.”
