Shivam Mishra, the man who was driving the Lamborghini lost control and rammed the car into several pedestrians on Sunday afternoon, injuring six, with his family claiming to have suffered a seizure behind the wheel.

The family has since claimed that Shivam suffered from a medical condition and suffered a seizure behind the wheel, due to which he lost control. “She was suffering from this episode for the last six months,” a family member told the police.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (Central) Atul Srivastava said, “The accident took place near Rev-3 Mall when the luxury car driven by Shivam Mishra, son of businessman KK Mishra, went out of control and plowed into people standing on the roadside and several cars, creating panic in the area.”
He also said that investigations are underway to verify the medical claims made by Shivam’s family. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

No First Information Report (FIR) has been registered so far.
According to witnesses at the scene, the speeding luxury sports car first rammed an autorickshaw and then collided with a parked Royal Enfield bike.
The impact of the car hitting the bike was so strong that the rider was thrown about ten feet into the air.
Among the injured were Taufiq Ahmed, a pedestrian on the footpath and two persons on a motorcycle, including Sonu Tripathi.
The incident enraged the locals, who rushed to the spot and surrounded the Lamborghini to block the driver.
Eyewitnesses alleged that private bouncers came to the spot and tried to rescue the driver of the luxury car.
