Mary Trump says Donald Trump doesn’t love his children and that Iran was just an excuse for her to miss Don Jr.’s wedding last weekend.
When Ivanka Trump posted photos of Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding over the weekend with Bettina Anderson, a socialite in Palm Beach, Bahamas, social media users noticed that her husband, Jared Kushner, who is supposed to be speaking with Iran, was present at the ceremony.
Trump announced earlier that he would not attend the wedding because he had work to do at the White House. “While I would very much like to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump family, my soon-to-be wife, Bettina, government-related circumstances, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” his post read.On weekends, there was time to play golf on his schedule this weekend, as he was supposed to travel to his golf resort in New Jersey, but it was later canceled and Trump stayed in Washington.Donald Trump’s niece and vocal critic, Mary Trump, recently said that the real reason President Trump did not attend the wedding was not Iran, but his inability to love and be loved. Mary claimed that he hated his children. “Well, I don’t mean to be reductive,” Mary said, “but it’s fundamentally true. The reason we’re in this mess is because Donald was never loved. Unfortunately, that’s the thing he wanted most and still wants. But due to complicated circumstances, my grandparents get a little credit for this as well. They make Donald into someone who desperately wants to be loved and who is completely unlovable.”
“So, it’s not that Donald isn’t as likable as Colbert (Steven), no one likes him — no one. And deep down he knows it. That’s where the anger and jealousy come in.”While Mary discussed with Dean Obaidullah that it is only Don’s second son’s marriage and not his tenth that a father can get over, Mary said she doesn’t feel sorry for him either. “Donnie is a terrible human being. He’s a bit of a Nazi,” she said. “He’s completely incomplete, a racist, a misogynist, and a terrible person. So don’t waste your time feeling bad for him.”
