Taylor Frankie Paul is fighting a custody battle on two fronts.
She is fighting for two of her children with ex-husband Tet Paul. She is fighting for her youngest child with her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
Now, a damning leak from DCFS seeks to classify her children as “abusive, neglectful or dependent” and appoint a guardian ad litem.
Is Taylor a bad parent? Is this leak an attempt to tarnish its reputation? both of them?
The leak paints a picture of an overworked and immature mother
On Wednesday, July 15th. TMZ A leaked file was reported by the Utah Attorney General on behalf of the state’s Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS).
The agency responsible for child safety wants all three of Hululebrity’s children to be declared “abused, neglected or dependent.”
This is necessarily a broad classification. What does that mean for them?
For one thing, it would require a court order for protective supervision of the children. It will also require the appointment of a guardian ad litem to look after the best interests of the children.
Taylor shares both 8-year-old Indy and 5-year-old Ocean with Tate. She and Dakota share a two-year-old child.
Interestingly, the leaked petition only appears to contain information about Taylor, even though she and Dakota made home visits and interviews.
DCFS documented points of concern, including an incident in which Taylor allegedly “walked out” of her home, taking her children with her, and appeared to become angry after social media messages.
Taylor also allegedly felt she was being “treated unfairly” due to her reality TV fame.
At other times, she allegedly “became escalated and erratic” and was comforted by her young children while the Department of Social Services talked to her about programs, interventions and counseling she could undergo.
These reports, when summarized, may indicate that Taylor is emotionally immature and sometimes seems more focused on how these circumstances affect Ha Instead of how it affects her children.

On Thursday, July 16th. TMZ Additional information posted from the Utah DCFS file. Again, just about Taylor.
This update included concerns about Taylor’s mental health, although Taylor assured social workers that she was not suicidal.
Taylor reportedly told caseworkers that they “had to know who killed her if she ended up dying because she felt like no one believed her.”
Another point of concern is that 8-year-old Indi was involved in the care of 2-year-old Ever, including preparing bottles and changing diapers. (It may come as a surprise to older children, especially older daughters, but these are actually the responsibilities of parents, not siblings.)
DCFS also expressed concern about the emotional and psychological impact that hearing Dakota and Taylor fight had on the children.
Taylor’s lawyer said TMZ This filing with juvenile court is “a common step for families involved in highly complex and contentious custody matters.”
The attorney’s statement said she “welcomes the additional structure and supervision” and that she looks forward to “becoming the healthiest version of herself.”
Additionally, a source close to Taylor asserted that leaking the report is not in the best interests of the children — and, perhaps most damningly, it presents an incomplete picture.
“It ignores DCFS’s documented concerns about the other side [the kids’ fathers]“It is registered in the district court and with law enforcement,” the insider lamented. “The juvenile court will weigh all of that fully.”
When it comes to leaks in this case, Taylor seems to be on the receiving end of bad press.
However, although sympathetic in many ways, the first priority must always be the well-being and safety of the children.
