The second woman alleged Jeffrey Epstein According to her lawyer, she was sent to the UK to have a sexual encounter with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The woman said she spent the night at the former prince’s residence, Royal Lodge, in 2010, her US lawyer Brad Edwards said. He told the BBC. The woman, who is not a British woman, is said to be in her 20s at the time.

Edwards, of Florida-based law firm Edwards Henderson, said the woman claimed that after spending the night with Mountbatten-Windsor, she was given a tour of Buckingham Palace and tea.

“We are talking about at least one woman sent Jeffrey Epstein To Prince Andrew. And after her night with Prince Andrew, she visited Buckingham Palace,” Edwards told the broadcaster.

This is the first time an Epstein accuser has alleged a sexual encounter at Royal Lodge, a royal residence.

BBC News said there was no response to a request for comment from Mountbatten-Windsor on the claim, and although Buckingham Palace routinely records the names of tour guests, it could not confirm her visit without revealing her identity.

Edwards is said to have and represents more than 200 Epstein survivors worldwide Virginia GiuffreShe alleged that in 2001, when she was 17, she was brought to London to have sex with the former prince. Giuffre said she forced Andrew to have sex twice, once in 2001 and 2002, once in New York and once on Epstein’s private Caribbean island. She committed suicide in April last year.

Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied Giuffre’s claims and any wrongdoing involving Epstein, a convicted sex offender who killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019.

The lawyer told the BBC there were communications between his client and the former prince before the encounter, where she allegedly spent the night with him. Edwards said he was in contact with the former prince’s “specific lawyer” in the US, but said Mountbatten-Windsor “seems disconnected from his lawyers”.

According to a BBC report, Edwards said communications ceased after King Charles formally stripped his sibling of his “style, title and honours” in October, following the publication of Giuffre’s posthumous memoirs.

The lawyer told the BBC he was now considering bringing a civil suit against the former prince on behalf of the woman.

Giuffre filed a civil suit against Andrew in the US in 2021 and settled the case in February 2022 for an estimated £12m.

The Guardian attempted to contact Mountbatten-Windsor for comment.
