Report: A US Army Apache helicopter crashed near the Strait of Hormuz

A US military helicopter went down near the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday amid escalating tensions between Iran and Washington. This incident comes as military hostilities continue following the launch of MAGA President Donald Trump’s major military campaign against the Iranian regime on February 28.However, the helicopter crew was rescued safely, Reuters reported. In response to the incident, US President Trump also said that “the pilots are fine after a helicopter crash near the Strait of Hormuz.”It was not immediately clear whether the Apache helicopter was shot down by Iranian fire, suffered a mechanical failure, or crashed for some other reason, according to the Jerusalem Post report.
