The two stars, as per the report, have been selected to lead the film, which is currently in the development stage. According to the report, the remake will also be produced by Parker Finn, known for his work in the gory horror film “Smile,” and Robert Pattinson.

Speaking with SFX Magazine in 2024 about the remake, Finn talked about how important “Possession” is to him and how great a horror film he thinks it is. He cited “It’s early days, but we’re incredibly excited about this absolutely crazy movie. Possession is one of my favorite movies of all time, and so what was really important to me was that we were honoring the original and staying true to its frenzied, absolutely insane ferocity.”
