‘Pluribus’ Producer Signs First Look Deal with Bell Media

Jeff Frost’s Bristol Circle Entertainment has signed a first-look development deal with Canadian company Bell Media.

Agree with Hot competition The network will see the former head of Sony Pictures Television Studios and his Los Angeles-based production banner create original scripted series for CTV, Crave, and for global export.

“Bell Media’s proven profile of bold risk-taking and passion for engaging, character-driven series that captivate Canadian and international audiences aligns perfectly with Bristol Circle’s vision and sensibilities,” Frost, Bristol Circle’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement Thursday.

The American producer, of which Roosevelt Brown is head of development, has a list of projects that include Apple TV Multiple series.

“Jeff has spent decades identifying exceptional creative talent and developing some of television’s most compelling stories including… Too bad, Outlander And recently Multiple. By combining Bristol Circle Entertainment’s creative pedigree with Bell Media’s market-leading platforms, we have a distinct advantage in creating and delivering high-quality original drama series.

Bell Media also has development and production deals with other Los Angeles-based creatives, including Seth Rogen’s Point Gray Pictures and Elliot Page’s Pageboy Productions. The Canadian broadcaster who created the gay hockey drama Hot competition Also on HBO Max, it has deals with Celeste Parr’s Pensionation Media and Lionsgate.

Hot competition Renewed for a second season, production is scheduled to begin this summer and is targeting a spring 2027 premiere.
