Reports claimed that Pam Bondi has been fired by Donald Trump.
The explosive Daily Mail report claimed there was a major showdown in the White House as President Donald Trump accused Attorney General Pam Bondi of an “unforgivable crime” while Bondi begged Trump not to fire her.
The report stated that Trump has already fired Bondi and this will be announced soon. The confrontation took place before Trump’s address to the nation at the height of the Iran war, the report said, adding that Bondi was upset and tried to change his mind.
The Epstein Files or Eric Swalwell?
While the majority believe that Pam Bondi was fired because Donald Trump was not happy with the way her department handled the Epstein investigation. Trump believes the Justice Department did not adequately investigate his rival in the Epstein case.
But another section believes it was because of Eric Swalwell. Trump believes that Bundy informed Eric Swalwell about FBI efforts to release investigative documents related to Swalwell’s relationship with an alleged Chinese spy.Swalwell asked the FBI not to release files related to his past relationship with Christine Fang, also known as “Fang Fang.” In a cease-and-desist letter sent by Swalwell’s lawyers to FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday, Swalwell, a leading Democratic candidate in the California governor’s race, asked Patel and the FBI to agree in writing by Wednesday not to release the files.
“The Congressman has never been accused of wrongdoing in this matter, and your attempt to release the dossier is a clear attempt to discredit him and undermine his campaign for governor of California,” attorneys Norm Eisen and Sean Hecker wrote. “Your actions threaten to expose you, others at the FBI, and the FBI itself to significant legal liability.”The letter noted that releasing the investigative files would violate Swalwell’s First Amendment rights, a 1974 law prohibiting the release of such records without the written consent of the subject of the files, and the Justice Department’s own regulations — and that his lawyers could take further legal action if necessary. It was reported that Kash Patel himself was working on the files, but insiders believe that Pam Bondi leaked the information to Swalwell.Bondi responded by pleading with the president to give her more time in the position, but Trump remained adamant that her time leading the agency was over, the Daily Mail reported. The report said that the White House was not happy with her intervention because of her personal friendship with Swalwell.
