Ving Rhames, best known for his role as Luther Stickel in Tom Cruise’s “Mission: Impossible” film series, reportedly collapsed during a night out at a restaurant in Los Angeles.According to a report on TMZ, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, while the 66-year-old actor was having dinner with his family. One witness told the portal that Rams suddenly collapsed on the table. He reportedly appeared to drift in and out of consciousness, prompting paramedics to rush him to hospital.A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed that a “medical assistance call” was received at around 1:40pm for a man in his 60s.
The patient was then transferred to the hospital to receive further care.Ruling out any major cause for concern, a representative for Rams later informed the media that the actor may have become “feverish” and is expected to make a full recovery. He is still under medical observation in the hospital.Rhames is widely known for portraying Luther Stickel, opposite Cruise’s Ethan Hunt, throughout the Mission: Impossible series.
