In March, Joseph Duggar was arrested on charges of child molestation.
As is customary in such cases, he was prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with minors.
But according to a new filing from Joe’s lawyer, he believes an exception should be made in the case of his children.

According to court records obtained by TMZ, Joseph recently filed legal documents seeking to modify his current no-contact order. His application specifically asks for permission to see his biological children.
This request comes as Joseph continues to fight serious criminal charges stemming from allegations involving a minor.
As mentioned previously, Ex 19 kids and counting The star was arrested in March and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The arrest came after a girl, now 14, alleged that several incidents occurred during a 2020 family vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida, when she was 9 years old. Joseph has pleaded not guilty.
After his arrest, a judge set Joseph’s bail at $600,000 and ordered that he have no unsupervised contact with minors as a condition of his release.

This restriction now appears to be affecting his ability to see the children he shares with his wife, Kendra Duggar.
Joseph’s father posted bail and was allowed to return home to Arkansas on the condition that I do so
Needless to say, these developments have only intensified the public scrutiny surrounding the Duggar family — especially given the family’s long history of criminal allegations and abuse scandals.
Joseph’s older brother, Josh Duggar, is currently serving prison time for possession of child sexual abuse material.
Joseph’s wife, Kendra Duggar, has been charged with child endangerment, which is also one of several charges Joseph faces. She is also out on bail and awaiting trial, but is allowed to see her children unsupervised.
The judge in Joseph’s case has not yet made a decision on whether or not he will be allowed to see his children before his trial.
