Xbox’s new CEO is listening — at least to this one.
Asha Sharma has reduced the price of Game Pass Ultimate from $29.99 to $22.99 per month. The price of PC Game Pass will drop from $16.49 to $13.99 per month.
The basic tier remains $9.99 per month and the premium tier remains $14.99 per month. Find the differences between each level here. At its simplest, the more you pay, the more games you get access to. Ultimate members only have access to select day one releases*.
*Price reductions come with a catch: starting this year, going forward Call of duty The titles will not join Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch. Instead, they will be added to both plans during the following holiday season, or more generally, one year later. existing Call of duty Xbox said on Tuesday that titles already in the library will remain available.
Annual Call of duty Launches have been the main driver of Game Pass subscriptions and retention.
“Our players cover a wide range of geographies, preferences and tastes, so while no single model is best for everyone, this change responds to a lot of the feedback we’ve received so far,” the price update announcement – via a blog post – said. “We will continue to listen and learn. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives subscribers access to hundreds of games on console and PC, including major day one releases (e.g. Call of duty used to be). Membership also allows for online console multiplayer, and there are (some) in-game benefits.
Xbox raised prices for Game Pass in October, ahead of its mobile launch. Things didn’t go well. Mobile devices (really laptops) came at a higher price than previously expected; Xbox Series Xbox ROG Ally (White, Base: $599.99) and Xbox ROG Ally
Xbox Series The Series S (basic white) starts at $399.99 and goes up to $449.99.
