GAT-B, BET 2026 Application Correction Window Opens on Exams.nta.nic.in: Check Direct Link, List of Editable Fields Here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2026.

Candidates who have registered for the examination can now make changes in their application forms by visiting the official website – exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet.As per the official notification, the correction facility has been made available from April 11, 2026, and candidates will be able to edit their forms till April 13, 2026, up to 11:50 pm.NTA has advised all registered candidates to carefully review their application details and make necessary corrections within the stipulated deadline, as no further opportunity will be provided after the correction window closes.The GAT-B and BET 2026 exams are scheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2026, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various exam centers across India.Candidates can make corrections in their application forms through the official website: exams.nta.nic.in/gat-betDirect link here.

GAT-B and BET 2026 fields are editable

According to NTA, candidates will not be allowed to change the following details:

  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • filming

Candidates will be allowed to change any of the following fields:

  • Candidate name
  • Father’s name
  • Mother’s name

Candidates can edit all the following details:

  • date of birth
  • sex
  • category
  • Subcategory/Persons with Standard Disabilities (PwBD)
  • Permanent and current address
  • Signature
  • The exam has been submitted
  • Class 10/equivalent details
  • Graduation details
  • Post-graduation details
  • Proof of identity (only for candidates who registered using identity proof other than Aadhaar)

Important instructions for candidates

NTA said that if any correction affects the application fee, candidates will have to pay the additional amount online through credit card, debit card, Net Banking or UPI.

The agency also clarified that additional payments made previously will not be refunded.The testing agency also stated that this is a one-time correction facility and once candidates submit the corrected form, it will be frozen.
