What OpenAI has to say
While users were experiencing issues accessing ChatGPT, OpenAI’s official status page also acknowledged the outage. The company reported the issue as “increased latency and errors affecting both ChatGPT and APIs.
The service is now back online again, according to the official OpenAI status page, and the latency issue has been fixed. “Performance is now back to normal,” the official page says.
To verify this, the TOI Tech team also tried accessing ChatGPT on the web as well as via the mobile app and in both places, ChatGPT seems to be working fine without any issues.
