In a heartfelt note he just shared online, the actor looked back on his relationship with his sister fondly and remembered their mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor.

As his sister officially tied the knot with her long-time partner, Rohan Thakur, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor couldn’t help but feel emotional on this auspicious occasion. The star recently took to his Instagram account to share glimpses of the wedding festivities, covering everything from a mehndi ceremony to a chowda and kalera event, as well as faras.
In another emotional post, he shared photos alongside his sister at the wedding and recalled their memories fondly.He began his post by sharing, “For me, you will always be mine, but now I have to let you go… Today your new journey begins with Rohan and my heart, mind and soul are so happy to see you smiling.” After that, he also talked about their mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, who died on March 25, 2012, after battling cancer.
He also spoke about his mother and wrote: “I have watched you grow into this amazing woman who is our mother every step of the way, never worry because she is watching and blessing you all the time…”Many of the pictures he uploaded with the emotional note consisted of the brother and sister playfully posing in their wedding outfits. However, the second slide in the post made everyone emotional as it showed a glimpse of Kapoor and Thakkar sitting at the wedding altar, while a picture of Mona Shourie Kapoor was placed next to them with a garland.

Finally, he concluded his emotional post by adding a brotherly reference to his sister and telling her that he will be there for her no matter what, and that he always has her back in everything. He also signed off the post by adding, “Love you Arjun Bhaiya.”
