Box office competition

In cinemas, the collaboration between Anurag Kashyap and Bobby Deol has clashed with other Hindi, Telugu and Hollywood films.

It competed with David Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ and Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Peddi’. The film also shares screens with “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.”Speaking about ‘Bender’, Wion quoted Bobby Deol as saying, “I have not increased my fee for this film. When a project really excites me as an actor, money is not the first thing I think about. What attracted me was the opportunity to play such a real, grounded character. We are often groomed to portray larger-than-life roles, but being completely natural on screen is actually much more challenging.”Apart from Bobby, the film also stars Sapna Babbi, Sanya Malhotra, Saba Azad and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles. The film was released in theaters on June 5, 2026.Disclaimer: The box office numbers and data contained in this article are compiled from various public and industry sources.
