Maruti e-Vitara has been launched with aggressive pricing that makes it significantly more affordable compared to its closest rival – Hyundai Creta Electric
Maruti Suzuki has announced the prices of the e-Vitara along with the battery charge. Company‘The first electric car retails at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards if purchased conventionally.
The Maruti e-Vitara is available in Delta, Zeta and Alpha grades, priced at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The company is also offering the Alpha grade in a dual-tone color scheme at a price of Rs 20.01 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki is offering a battery ownership as a service (BaaS) option for the e-Vitara. Under this programme, the car costs Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Delta model, Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Zeta model, and Rs 14.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Alpha model.

The two-tone paint option in Alpha grade increases the price to Rs 14.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers need to pay a battery subscription fee of Rs 3.99/km in the Delta model and 4.39/km in the Zeta and Alpha models.
The BaaS program includes a free home charger plus installation. However, BaaS pricing only applies to the introductory period. Customers who purchase the e-Vitara at full price will receive a free home charger plus installation, but only until March 31.

The Delta variant of the Maruti e-Vitara comes with a permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 105.8 kW (142 PS) and 193 Nm of torque and a 49 kWh LFP battery pack. This configuration provides a range of up to 440 kilometers. The 49 kWh LFP battery pack takes approximately 6.5 hours for a 10-100% charging session through a 7.4 kW AC charger and 45 minutes for a 10-80% DC charging session.

The Zeta and Alpha grades are upgraded to a high-output PMSM system with 128 kW (172 hp) and 193 Nm of torque and a larger battery pack with an energy storage capacity of 61 kWh. This setting increases the range to 543 km. The 61 kWh LFP battery pack charges from 10% to 100% via a 7.4 kW AC charger in 9 hours, but charging from 10% to 80% via a DC charger takes the same 45 minutes.
