Actor Tiger Shroff is back on screen, but this time not in an action film. The Bollywood star has teamed up with choreographer Bosco Leslie Martis to release a new music video titled downtownReleased under BLM Music. The party track features Tiger alongside Akanksha Sharma, which is set in a firefighter-inspired world filled with smoke, sirens and amazing choreography.

The video, directed by Bosco himself, shows a tiger dancing through a gritty industrial backdrop, dripping with water and fire effects, a visual signature of Bosco’s high-energy choreography seen in hits like Doubt Doubt and Gom Jo Pathan.
Fans say it’s nothing new
Despite the brilliant production, downtown It was not liked by many viewers. The comments sections received their fair share of criticism, with many calling the video repetitive and uninspiring.
One user wrote: “Same step, same movements… Why Tiger??????” Another commented, “Hey bro, focus on good script and acting.” Others described the song as “below average,” “missed steps,” and “nothing new.” One disappointed fan added: “I respect Tiger a lot, but I don’t enjoy singing.”

Speaking about the creative process, Tiger told News18, “Sid Bosco has this amazing way of pushing you beyond your comfort zone and helping you discover a new rhythm within yourself. I love this process – it keeps you growing as a performer. The song is raw, powerful and visually completely different from anything I’ve done before. It’s definitely one of the most amazing worlds I’ve ever stepped into, and I can’t wait for the audience to see this new side of me.”
Meanwhile, Bosco described the concept behind the video as a tribute to real-life heroes. “With Downtown, the idea was to celebrate firefighters in the coolest way through a fun, high-energy visual novel,” he said. “This entire video was shot in nine hours, and it was really about celebrating the spirit in the most exciting way possible through music and choreography.”
Tiger’s latest work
The tiger was last seen in Baaghi 4 (2025), directed by A. Harsha, an unofficial remake of the 2013 Tamil film Entho entho entho. The action and suspense film revolves around a man who wakes up from a coma to reveal the truth about his missing girlfriend, whom no one believes exists.
