Launch of the MacBook Air M4
Tim Cook shared a new teaser on X (formerly Twitter), which reads: “There’s something in the air,” with the caption “this week.” This means that the company is set to launch a new product from the Air series, which will likely be the new generation MacBook Air powered by the latest M4 chip. This gives us confirmation of a new Apple product launch this week. Similar to the iPhone 16e, we expect the MacBook Air to also be launched online via a press release and demo video. Therefore, a live launch event is not expected yet. While Apple’s launch this week has fans excited, Apple has not shared any launch date or time. So, a new MacBook Air could arrive at any moment.

M4 MacBook Air: What we expect
The M4 MacBook Air will likely come in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. With the new chip, the laptop can offer improved CPU and GPU performance, enhancing the overall experience for users. We expect the MacBook Air to get a RAM upgrade from 24GB to 32GB. The device can also offer a memory bandwidth of 120 GB/s and a 12-megapixel webcam for video conferencing.
