Do you agree with the comparison of Jasprit Bumrah and Usman Tariq with Aaqib Javed?
Explaining his comparison, Javed said that Bumrah’s style of bowling is rare because of his unusual action and the difficulty batsmen have in settling against him. “In today’s era, across the entire World Cup, there is only one player like this – Bumrah. Because he is different. He is not an ordinary bowler. Even his actions are extraordinary. When he comes to bowl, I always say he is like the Usman Tariq of fast bowlers,” he told reporters.
He further explained that Bumrah’s speed and unique rhythm make him very difficult to face. “He bowls the ball so quickly and in such a unique way that the batsman never finds any flow or rhythm against him. He simply does not allow that,” he added.Javed also argued that bowlers with the aura of past greats have become a rarity in modern cricket. “Other than him, tell me about another player in the entire World Cup – from any team – that you can look at and feel good because he has a reflection of Wasim Akram or Waqar Younis or someone like that. You won’t find one anymore,” he added.
