Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker has expressed concern over students’ protest against alleged exam paper leaks, saying every child deserves education, safety and a fair chance in life.In a social media post, the Indian shooter said the issue transcends politics and called for accountability to protect the future of students.“At this point, it’s about the lives of our nation’s future. It’s about us,” Bhaker wrote.“I am a student, and at some point, we were all students. Every child deserves an education, security and a fair chance in life. These are not privileges – they are basic rights.”Referring to the students and children who lost their lives, Bhaker said they deserve a better future.“They were supposed to be the future of our country,” she wrote, adding that “their dreams, potential and future should have been protected.”

Bhaker also said the matter should not be looked at through a political lens and urged people to focus on issues that affect everyone.“It is not about promoting or opposing any political party.

It’s about speaking out loud about what really matters – education, environment, safety, and accountability. “These issues affect every one of us, regardless of our beliefs,” she said. The Olympic medalist said that she feels sad when she sees students facing such conditions, stressing that they deserve better. She added: “I am very proud to represent my country.
