Virat Kohli hit a record 28 runs against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, becoming the player with the most runs against a single opponent in the Indian Premier League (IPL).Playing at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru opener edged past Rohit Sharma to take his total against CSK to 1,174 runs.
Kohli needed just two runs at the start of the match to break Rohit’s record 1,161 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders, reaching the mark in the first over.
