Gujarat Titans gave youngster Nishant Sindhu his Indian Premier League debut during their encounter against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Captain Shubman Gill confirmed inclusion in the toss after electing to bowl first.Explaining the decision, Gill pointed to the team’s recent success during the chase and their desire to build on this rhythm. “We’ve been chasing well the last few games, so we’ll keep that momentum going,” he said. Sindhu, a talented all-rounder from Haryana, is known for his left-handed batting along with traditional slow left-arm bowling.
